Why bareboat charter?

Those of you who have been on a bareboat charter know it can be the most amazing and rewarding vacation imaginable. Those who haven't may worry that there are plenty of reasons NOT to charter - such as safety or being claustrophobic. Please add your thoughts as to why bareboating is such a fantastic holiday!

Because of the Freedom!

When we booked our first bareboat charter in the BVI, we were very worried that it would be claustrophobic and that we'd end up fighting with the friends we shared a 38' beneteau with. We were also a bit worried that it would be uncomfortable compared to a hotel.

We couldn't have been more wrong! On every charter we've done since then, we've had the time of our lives and become much closer to our friends. There is no better vacation because of the total freedom you have, doing exactly what you please when you please, and not worrying about things ashore, except when you want to eat, drink or dance!

We highly recommend a bareboat charter (hire a skipper if you're worried about sailing the boat) for just about anyone who loves travel and adventure.
