Porto di Lavante - Tropea
The Porto di Lavante on the north and eastern side of Vulcano Island is small and offers an escape from other islands and sailors. The island has no active volcanoes, but offers three inactive ones if you’d like to stretch your sea legs for a hike. There are thermal baths, springs and natural swimming pools all over the island. The Faraglione della Fabbrica scarp is one of the most loved natural pools on the island, for both tourists and locals alike. There are clubs and restaurants north of the quay, which extends 280 meters from shore.
