Ginsotra Port - Tropea

Across the water from Tropea Harbor lies the island of Stromboli. Don’t be fooled, this island is actually an active volcano that goes down 2000 meters. Lava still surges down the sides and it’s quite the spectator sport at night. The island really has no sailboat accessible quays. There are anchorages, however, on the western side. Your only hope of finding an acceptable anchorage is at the Ginostra Port. The island has food, fuel and water with unique black beaches circumnavigating the island.
