Ermoupoli Harbor - Syros
Ermoupoli Harbor lies north of the landing strip at the Syros Airport, on the east end of the island with the capital town just on shore. There are interesting buildings within the city as well, not limited to the City Hall, the Apollo Theater and one of the oldest museums in all of Greece. The harbor is nicely enclosed and offers good escape from some of the winds. You can stock up on supplies and gasoline here as well; the Dionysos and Foradenes restaurants have gotten good reviews from likeminded sailors. The South Aegean Sea is at your back door.
