Marina Palmizana - Split
The marina lies on the southern end of the Hvar island. There are 160 berths, all with electricity and water for a small fee of course. You can also find toilets and showers, an exchange office and a grocery store. You can pick up the taxi boat here to and from Hvar in the summer. The max draught, however, is only five meters. You can go ashore and explore the 300 hectares that is a nature reserve. The water is nearly always clear as blue glass and snorkeling is possible on any one of the beaches.
