  San Diego is a very predictable harbor day sail with light winds, warm weather and high traffic on the weekends. If you plan carefully, from your chartered yacht you can see a concert, air races, stop for lunch/dinner/drinks and a beautiful skyline. Be sure to get advice on "reciprocity" as the ultra rich have pushed out the super rich and their are limited yacht clubs where you can pop-in for a visit. However, there are great places to tie up; Bali Hia restaurant, Coronado, Downtown, Joe's Crab Shack, to name a few.
