Ormos Katavothra (Bay) - Skiathos
Ormos Katavothra (or Katavothra Bay) is the native name for this bay just directly north as the crow flies from Platania Bay. Ormos Katavothra has a small town to the south but is really nice if you want to escape into a cove with beaches all to yourself. There are some caves in the area but the water is a bit deeper on this side of the island. There’s a road that winds right up to the coast, runs parallel for a short while and heads back to the southern end of the island. You’ll have to drop anchor to rest here but it’s worth it if you want some alone time.
