Platania Bay - Skiathos
Platania Bay is south of the main Skiathos Port and is around the wide peninsula on the same side of the island. There are several beaches here only sectioned off by rocks and protruding cliffs. There are some hotels on the flipside of the peninsula but the Hotel Ariadni on the Platanias Bay side gets nice reviews for good food and value. There are some places to moor but its best to drop anchor if you want to swim to or from the beaches.
