Anchorages in Seychelles

1. Praslin: Second largest island in the Seychelles Archipelago, boasting a number of anchorages to protect in any type of weather. Choose from Baie Sainte Anne, Anse Lazio, Anse Georgette, Anse Volbert, or Anse Petite Cour.



2. La Passe: La Digue is the third largest island in the Seychelles Archipelago. La Passe is home of the La Digue Harbour on the NW coast of the island. This small harbour is restricted to 4 catamarans and will hold on almost all winds.



3. Baie Sainte Anne: The main harbour of Praslin offering many provisionings, including water, ice and gasoline, supermarkets, and plenty Creole restaurants.



4. Sainte Anne National Park: Safe anchorage a few miles from Mahe island. This area is a national park, offering excellent snorkeling (for amateurs and experienced) with a wide variety of different fish species. This anchorage offers the best protection from SE Winds.
