Pacific Northwest Yacht Charter Summary Information

Sunset at Turn Island

Pacific Northwest yacht charterers enjoy cruising in sheltered inland waters among hundreds of islands between April and October. During the summer months, you will enjoy abundant sunshine and a dry climate. Summer winds are generally southeast to southwest and blowing between 5 and 15 knots throughout the summer. The area's tidal range is 10 to 12 feet. Plenty of on-shore activities to be had, including visits to untouched islands, and delightful villages, inns and spas. Great place to view Orca whales, porpoises, seals, bald eagles, otters, and sea birds. The Pacific Northwest has 4 distinct cruising grounds: The San Juan’s (which is located in the US), The Gulf Islands, The Sunshine Coast and The Desolation Sound cruising ground (all 3 of which are located in Canada).
