All was exactly as desired. Very nice boat (Bavaria 48), good service. No complanits at all. My only comment would be that the boat systems were more complex than I am used to and the walk through was complete but in our muddled state of mind with flying etc, they could have spent a little more time to ensure we completely understood the valving arrangement for the shower sumps. We messed up, not them, but was a minor problem in an otherwise excellent trip. Another comment is that it would be good for one of us to be aboard when the provisions are loaded as it took some time to find stuff later. Grenada and the Grenadines are an excellent charter venue. You really have to visit the Tobago Cays before you bite it! We will be back!

I recommnend Horizon to all who are interested. This was my first time to take a bare boat and was very happy with the overall experience.
As a first timer and merely a member of the crew, I cannot comment on the skipper brief / de-brief. However, the instruction for the vessel itself was very good and the staff took the time to clearly answer questions.
Investing this level of money in a vacation, I did think the owners / mgrs of the base could have been a bit more accomodating on some minor issues...e.g. secure luggage storage before and after the cruise, perhaps a bit more patient with my novice questions. I did not like feeling that I was 'in the way' after spending the money. But...they could have been having a tough week...who knows?
The boat was perfect for the cruise. The only thing that did not work were the stereo speakers in the cockpit. These were fried and were such a pain in the ear, we finally disconnected them.
Communication prior to the trip was very good. Travel was long (20 hours total transit time) from Iowa. The Grenadines were a perfect setting for the trip.
