Bestas Limani Bay - Gocek
Just south and on the same peninsula from Fethiye is Bestas Limani. There are plenty of quiet coves on this side of the peninsula, south of the main town of Kayakoy. From this bay you can walk into town in less than one hour. You’ll pass some ruins and once you get into town, don’t miss the churches. Bestas Limani has both rocky and beach coastline. Most people take refuge to the west and to the east of the main bay. The water is deep but taking a swim is soothing, as this place is also called “Cold Water Bay” for the cold spring water that makes the water temps drop 20 degrees. If you’re crazy enough, it’s a fun pastime to rock dive into the water here.
