Port Gocek Marina - Gocek
Port Gocek (or Göcek Port) in Turkey is a nice protected bay with a wide opening for easy entrance. Not only is there a nature park to visit, but there is a daily market where you can buy fresh fish and dairy products—a luxury out at sea! You can scrub yourself at a local or tourist hammam—a communal steamy room where you wash with hot water. The Gocek Marina is newer and was built in 2000. There is a small supermarket in town and plenty of places to get food and drinks. It is said that the shower facilities at Port Gocek Marina are the best around. There is boat storage and facilities to repair and maintain your boat. Held within the same Gocek marina area are the Club Marina to the west and Skopea to the south, closer to the entrance.
