Anchorages in Dubrovnik

1. Korcula: Good anchorage on the eastern point of Korcula or dock at the ACI marina Korcula. One of the biggest towns on the island, Korcula is often called “mini Dubrovnik”. This city has many historic buildings, still contains the old medieval center and walls, and claims to be Marco Polo’s birthplace with his original house.

2. Okuklje: Very well protected cove on northeastern end of the island of Mljet. Stop here to eat fish specialties from local restaurants.

3. Sipanska Luka: Deep port on the western side of Sipan Island. This harbour is where the ferries arrive to the island. This anchorage offers the best stop for protection from SE winds. Make sure you see the historical ruins from Roman times (remains of 30 churches) and palaces here.
