Golfe d’Ajaccio - Corsica
Ajaccio, a.k.a. Golfe d’Ajaccio lies in the south on the eastern side of the island of Corsica. The Campo Dell Oro airport can be seen from the waters here. You’ll have no problem finding a mooring or any supplies, such as groceries and fuel. The area is well situated and is supplied by all sorts of European countries in the Mediterranean. There are some nice long stretches of beaches here and plenty to do ashore. In fact, Napoleon Bonaparte was born here and you can visit his family’s house. Try a seafood meal at the Restaurant Don Quichotte and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
