British Virgin Islands Yacht Charter Information
The British Virgin Islands are considered the world's yacht charter capital for a reason. Consistent 10-20 knot winds and easy line-of-sight navigation make hopping islands around Tortola a breeze. Winds tend to be stronger in the winter and weaker during the summer. Most yacht charter cruises will be between 5 and 10 nautical miles with carefree deep waters in between. A multitude of yacht charter anchorages and moorings make the BVIs the perfect place for beginner sailors to the most seasoned of sailors.
