You really can't beat a charter out of La Paz if you prefer to be active and remote. The beauty, scenery and wildlife will blow you away. The sailing can be exceptional if you hit at the right time. Hiking the islands, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, tons of activities. But you won't find any beach bars or parties, you have to bring the party with you. Be sure to provision heartily, there won't be anywhere to get water or ice until you get to Pto Escondido and even that is limited. We ran out of tequila on our 8th day, a real pity but luckily our other supplies all lasted the entire trip.
All said, Baja is one of my favorite places in the world and a great place for a sailing vacation.- Overall Rating
