Faliron Bay - Athens
Faliron Bay (a.k.a. Phaleron Bay) is just north of Kalamaki and is a more of a larger bay and marina. The airport is just down the coast to the south, with a road running parallel north up the coast. The bay is less than 10km southwest of Athens with the Peace and Friendship Stadium not too far off. The marina here harbors sailboats and yachts in the hundreds, as the area welcomed many sailors to the 2004 Olympic Games. Though on the fringe of the cityscape in the distance, there are some nice parks with mowed lawns and trees to stop for a short snooze.
