When you charter with The Moorings, you would think you are chartering with The Moorings. In Athens, Greece, you're not. Rather you are chartering with a local company; so the name "The Moorings" is mostly marketing. The local company is horrible to deal with. The local representative responsible for getting our boat ready was hostile and that's a deliberate understatement. The boat had numerous defects, starting with a. defective head. All in all, if you want a very unpleasant chartering experience, by all means charter with the Moorings in Greece.
