Procida Harbor - Amalfi Coast
On the east side of the island, there are all kinds refuge for your power yacht or sailboat. No matter where you might be, you’re sure to find a cove for cover. If you’re trying to get away from the crowds, however, you won’t find it here. Procida has one of the highest population densities, some 11,000 people within 2,600 square kilometers. There’s not a lot of naturalness to the island. You’d never guess it today, but the island used to be a game reserve in the mid-17th century and only became part of Italy in the 1860s. There are plenty of good restaurants on the waterfront: Ristorante Gorgonia on the southern side serves seafood and traditional dishes. Watch out for various rocks and other hazards underneath the water.
