CharterExpert was founded in August 2006 by avid sailors and travelers Matt and Stephen. Unsatisfied with the current offerings on the Internet to find quality yacht charters, Matt and Stephen set out to create a website that allows users to rate and review charter sailing destinations and companies, as well as to add and update charter sailing information.

Our goal is to be the best source for yacht charter destination, bareboat yacht charter, and crewed yacht charter reviews and information on the Internet.
