Mexico, North America Yacht Charter Destinations
Mexico offers sailing as it were from years gone by, or so it seems. The traffic on the water diminishes to a peaceful bliss compared to other busier high-season sailing areas. The dryness and perfect winds that last for many months starting in December make sailing here a breeze, on a breeze as most of the squalls have subsided by October or November. Though consistent winds from the northwest make navigating and determining the next mooring easier, there can be day or more lapse in the winds—perfect for fishing, snorkeling, beach-going or just hanging out. Mexico just happens to be one of those places described that gets ~320 days or more of sunshine a year. Baja, to be more exact, teems with wild life and lulls sailors into a more natural rhythm with nature.
